Thinking - Sense
How Sensory Spin helps to play, learn and grow

Laughing produces happy hormones which don't just make us feel good, they help us learn too. Giggle at getting dizzy, being tickled by the gentle scarfs or funny new sounds. Laugh at the silly antics of the high contrast characters.

Use all of your senses (sight, touch, taste, smell, hearing, balance and muscle) to experience the wonder of the world and encourage curiosity. The silver balls encourage closer investigation into weight and sound.

Communication - Respond

Respond to high interest objects moving differently around you and making new sounds. Engage and respond to the high contrast faces of the fish, panda and penguin. Start to indicate when you want more through smiles and laughter. Respond and react to the light rings as they light up when bashed. Develop the motivation and the skills that encourage communication.

Movement - Around & around

The contrast mat and cushions make a safe  space to move around, from tummy time on the bolsters, to a soft space to learn to crawl. The mini spin can be used laying or sitting to experience spinning, rocking and wobbling movements, stimulating your sense of balance and coordination, or used to roll the metal balls and eggs around.
